£26k – £32k + Training & Benefits

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as an Asbestos Lab Analyst
• Competent in working in accordance with UKAS and HSG guidelines
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Highly proficient in using IT software (e.g., Microsoft applications)
• Minimum BOHS P401 ticket required; we also accept P402, P403, P404 or S301 CCP
• Able to prioritise own workload and meet set targets

Responsibilities

• Analysing ACM samples through stereo‑microscopy and PLM methods
• Confirming presence and type of asbestos fibres within samples
• Receiving samples from site, logging and storing them correctly
• Updating internal databases with results
• Issuing analytical certificates to clients
• Working to set company and personal targets
• Maintaining lab equipment
• Carrying out quality assurance checks and audits
• Supporting the company in maintaining UKAS accreditation
