£40,000 – £50,000 DOE | Permanent | Full-Time | 7:30am – 4:30pm | On-site

MTF UK LTD is a specialist manufacturer of high-quality glass and UPVC frames, and due to continued growth we’re looking to recruit a hands‑on Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support our automated production environment.

This is a day‑shift role offering stability, responsibility and the opportunity to improve and develop modern manufacturing systems.

The Role

As Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently by maintaining and improving automated machinery and control systems across the site.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining electrical control systems across automated machinery and production lines
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical and automation faults
  • Supporting commissioning of new equipment and upgrades
  • Working closely with production and engineering teams to improve reliability
  • Ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures
  • Supporting continuous improvement across plant performance

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing or factory automation
  • Strong electrical fault‑finding and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working with industrial control systems
  • Knowledge of industrial communication networks
  • Practical, hands‑on engineering approachStrong teamwork and communication skills

Desirable

  • Experience within glass, windows, plastics, or fabrication manufacturing
  • Exposure to robotics or machine vision systems
  • PLC diagnostics / modification experience
  • Continuous improvement or lean manufacturing exposure
