This role is ideal for someone with heavy industry, project management and CDM regulations experience. The successful applicant will be a degree educated Electrical Engineer who has a solid understanding of project management techniques, risk assessment, and safety study methods.

Mon-Fri, 36.5 hours per week, between the hours of 08:00 and 16:45

ASAP but pending the result of a medical assessment (which does include a drug and alcohol test)
Responsibilities
- Delivering complex engineering projects
- Working on projects to help deliver world class efficiency, safety and sustainability of operations
- Supporting on major capital projects
- Planning, designing and executing electrical work from concept to commissioning
- Collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver technical solutions
- Coordinating with cross functional teams to ensure project objects are met
- Ensuring any designs comply with industry standards, codes and regulations
- Overseeing installation and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment
- Working as part of a team that is driving engineering excellence, you'll collaborate with a range of diverse stakeholders
- Create project plans and proposals that will support and improve our business.
- Drafting technical specifications and requests for quotations from OEMs and contractor partners.
Essential requirements
- Degree educated in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years industry experience (Heavy industry/Manufacturing and/or large scale engineering environments)
- The ability to project manage and lead a team with proven experience of this
- Familiarity with the construction (design and management) regulations (CDM)
- Sound understanding of UK health and Safety legislation including risk assessments
- Strong verbal and written communication skill
