Position Overview

The Department of Durham Law School at Durham University seeks to appoint a talented individual to the role of Assistant Professor on either the Education track or Research and Education track.

We welcome applications from those with research and teaching interests in the broad field of Private Law. We are particularly eager to hear from applicants with a focus on Land and Trusts Law. Candidates are expected to be able to teach Level 1 and 2 core modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Level 1 and 2 core modules in Private Law, with emphasis on Land and Trusts Law.
• Engage in research in the area of Private Law, particularly Land and Trusts Law.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of innovative teaching and research activities at the university.
