DVLA Enforcement Officer

Our Enforcement Officers play a big part by removing untaxed vehicles on behalf of the DVLA.
What does a DVLA Enforcement Officer do?
- Liaises with members of the public and gives advice regarding clamping and fines.
- Advises the public on payment methods and other issues regarding enforcement action taken on their vehicle.
- Works alongside other agencies when required including Police, DVLA and VOSA.
- Deals with enquiries from the public regarding enforcement action and ensures the relevant information packs are available.
- Ensures all vehicles and enforcement equipment are serviced and fit for purpose, reporting faults to the Manager.
- Completes daily reports regarding activities.
- Clamps and removes untaxed vehicles.
What do you need to be a DVLA Enforcement Officer?
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self‑motivated.
- Customer focused.
- Ability to work shifts.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be ideal but not essential.
- The ability to carry out manual handling and heavy‑lifting tasks safely.
