Role Overview

Jarvie Plant Group is a leading name in the plant hire industry, providing high‑quality equipment and outstanding service to customers across Scotland and the North of England. We are seeking a Sales Support Executive based at our Newbridge, Edinburgh location to support the Sales & Plant Operations Director and wider Sales Team. In this role you will ensure accurate sales activity capture, timely customer responses, and clear commercial performance reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales & Plant Operations Director and sales team with accurate capture of sales activity, customer responses and performance reporting.
  • Maintain CRM discipline and manage data hygiene.
  • Produce sales, utilisation and portfolio reports, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Support dashboard creation and distribution using Power BI.
  • Coordinate key account activity, account plans, portfolio reviews and agreed actions.
  • Administer customer rates, pricing updates and SLA documentation.
  • Manage tenders, PQQs and supplier questionnaires end‑to‑end.
  • Maintain tender trackers and audit trails; ensure timely submissions.
  • Support sales and marketing activity through administrative coordination and performance tracking.
  • Provide day‑to‑day support to the Sales Team and deliver ad‑hoc commercial analysis and presentations for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales support, commercial administration, bid/tender coordination or account support, ideally in a B2B environment.
  • Strong experience using CRM systems and reporting tools such as HubSpot and Power BI.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and Office skills.
  • High attention to detail in managing data, pricing, SLAs and documentation.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, managing multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Strong written communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a continuous improvement approach to systems, processes and reporting.
