What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead end-to-end QA delivery across financial testing streams, from planning through to execution
- Own test strategies, estimates, and key artefacts aligned to project timelines
- Manage and mentor QA team members, supporting performance and workload allocation
- Track progress, risks, and issues, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders
- Run defect triage sessions, driving prioritisation and resolution
- Collaborate with technical teams, suppliers, and business stakeholders to maintain quality across integrations
- Review requirements and designs, providing a QA-focused perspective
- Perform detailed financial reconciliation across transactions, prize allocations, and reporting datasets
- Carry out complex Excel-based calculations to validate financial models and outcomes
- Investigate discrepancies and support root‑cause analysis
- Contribute to continuous improvement across QA processes and standards
Main Skills Needed:
- Strong QA background (6+ years) across functional and structured testing
- Proven experience in financial testing, reconciliation, or data‑heavy environments
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex modelling and large dataset handling
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capability with strong attention to detail
- Experience with risk‑based testing and requirement validation
- Familiarity with test environments, data setup, and configuration management
- Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills
- Exposure to tools like Jira, Confluence, TestRail, and API testing tools
- Bonus: experience in gaming, lottery, or financial transaction systems
