Compliance Manager

Overview

Pay Rate: £38,500-£39,500 (Dependent on Experience)
Grade: O
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm

Location: Newcastle Under Lyme

Responsibilities

• Full compliance with all applicable UK transport legislation
• Actively manage and protect DHL Supply Chain Operator Licence undertakings
• Ensure compliance with Drivers\' Hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph legislation
• Monitor that all vehicles, trailers, and associated equipment are maintained in a roadworthy and compliant condition (Key2)
• Lead and support internal compliance audits, including DHL Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) standards
• Investigate transport incidents, near misses, and compliance breaches

Qualifications / Suitable candidate

• Compliance Experience
• Administration Experience
• Strong Communicator
• Delivering Presentations, strong stakeholder management skills are ESSENTIAL
• IT Literate, with Microsoft Office Packages, Excel
