Responsibilities
- Play a key role in managing the Duchy’s carbon inventory across Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.
- Work with internal and external specialists to collect and consolidate data across the value chain, including tenant farms.
- Analyse and model this data, source additional insights, and track nature‑related metrics such as biodiversity, habitat, and water quality using geospatial tools to monitor performance and model improvements.
- Produce estate management KPIs, ensure property data integrity, and deliver regular and ad‑hoc reporting to support environmental, social, and financial governance.
- Maintain historic financial data and support benchmarking.
Qualifications
- Background in environment, business, economics, or finance.
- Experience in greenhouse gas reporting.
- Confidence working with large datasets in Excel and GIS.
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders, strong attention to detail, clear communication, and passion for sustainability.
- Experience with Azure, Power BI, SQL, or MS Access is advantageous.
- Knowledge of nature or social reporting and management accounting is advantageous.
Location
This position would be preferentially based in our Bath office, but open to candidates who would prefer to be based in London.
