Business Developer – UK (Industrial SaaS)

I am working with a market-leading B2B SaaS provider operating within industrial environments. We are looking to hire a Business Developer to support their continued growth across the UKI market.
The role
This is a front-line commercial role focused on driving new business and expanding existing customer relationships. You will take ownership of developing the UKI market, acting as a trusted local partner to customers while building a strong pipeline of opportunities.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and expanding relationships with commercial customers
- Identifying new business opportunities and driving new customer acquisition
- Managing the full sales cycle, guiding prospects through a structured and consultative process
- Demonstrating value and aligning solutions to customer needs
- Growing revenue through both new business and upsell opportunities
- Collaborating closely with internal teams across engineering, marketing and product
Success in the role will be measured through new customer wins and revenue growth.
About you
You are a commercially driven, proactive salesperson who enjoys building relationships and creating opportunities from the ground up. You are comfortable operating in a relatively autonomous role while contributing to a wider international team.
You will likely have:
- Experience in a business development, account executive or sales role within SaaS or technology
- A “hunter” mindset with a strong focus on new business
- Successful track record of selling B2B SaaS solutions
- The ability to build credibility with technical stakeholders
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Location and travel
- Based in the Midlands (Birmingham, Manchester, Nottingham region)
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings on occasion
