A highly regarded UK law firm is looking to strengthen its national Procurement & Contracts practice with a Senior Associate appointment in Leeds:

The Role

  • Procurement & Contracts Senior Associate
  • Highly competitive salary
  • Advising primarily public sector clients on procurement law and commercial contracts
  • Work under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, Procurement Act 2023, Procurement Regulations 2024 and the Provider Selection Regime
  • Advising on project structuring and procurement strategy
  • Managing end‑to‑end procurement processes from market engagement through to award and contract management
  • Drafting procurement documentation and advising on evaluation, moderation and risk management
  • Drafting a wide range of commercial contracts, including services and goods contracts, frameworks, call‑offs, concession and collaboration agreements
  • Advising on contract interpretation, variations, waivers and compliance with procurement legislation
  • Working closely with specialist procurement litigation colleagues where required

The Candidate

  • Ideally 5+ years’ PQE in procurement and commercial law
  • Strong technical expertise in public procurement
  • Confident managing client relationships
  • Comfortable taking responsibility for complex matters
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skillsInterested in business development and practice growth
  • Collaborative, proactive and detail‑oriented
  • Keen to develop leadership skills within a high‑performing team
