Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Staines
Term: Permanent
Salary: £29,500 - £35,000 (doe) benefits
We are working with an established electro‑mechanical manufacturing company seeking a Quality Inspector to support quality assurance across production and supply chain activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out inspection and testing of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Support quality processes including audits, documentation, and continuous improvement activities
- Investigate non‑conformances and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Maintain quality records, calibration systems, and support traceability across production
- Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure consistent quality performance
- Assist with supplier quality activities and general quality system compliance
Requirements
- Previous experience within a quality or inspection role in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of quality standards and structured quality systems (e.g., ISO environments)
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical and process‑driven approach
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced setting
