Job Description

A Quantity Surveyor role within WSP's Sheffield PMCM team, focused on managing and reporting on the commercial performance of private sector Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), Build To Rent (BTR) and mixed‑use projects across the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Project management from inception to completion
  • Tender and appoint the project delivery team
  • Attend design team meetings and produce tender documentation
  • Develop cost plans
  • Review tender returns, authorise payment applications, conduct risk analysis and produce valuation certificates
  • Administer the Design & Build contract
  • Prepare financial reports and final account information
  • Participate in value engineering workshops and analyse findings

Qualifications and Requirements

  • HNC, HND, BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying
  • Experience in delivery of residential projects, ideally high‑rise developments
  • Experience with JCT Design & Build contracts
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong planning, organising and time‑management skills; team‑working ability
  • Full driving licence
  • Commute to the office is required
