If you’re in sales, you want three things — a decent product, real earning potential, and the freedom to go and win.
This role ticks all three.
You’ll be selling essential compliance services — not “nice to have” add-ons, but legal requirements every business needs. That means a stronger proposition, better conversations, and more consistent wins.
Backed by the scale of PTSG and a steady flow of warm leads, you’ll have everything you need to build a serious pipeline — and get paid properly for it.
This is a field-based Business Development role with full ownership of your territory.
You’ll be out meeting clients, building relationships, and closing work across electrical compliance services including EICR, PAT testing, Fire Risk Assessments and Fire Door Surveys.
You won’t be sat waiting for leads — you’ll create your own opportunities too. But you won’t be doing it alone either. You’ll have marketing support, CRM data, and internal referrals from across the wider PTSG group.
It’s a proper mix of autonomy and backing.
You’re not joining a small standalone business trying to figure things out.
You’re joining a specialist company backed by PTSG — one of the UK’s leading providers of Building Safety & Compliance services, employing over 3,000 people and delivering 170+ services to more than 90,000 customers nationwide.
That means:
Year one is about building — pipeline, relationships, and momentum.
You’ll be supported, but trusted to take ownership. By the end of your first 12 months, you’ll have:
Someone who enjoys the chase.
You like being out on the road, opening doors, building relationships and closing deals. You don’t wait for work — you go and create it.
If that sounds like you, you’ll do well here.
