They seek a talented and passionate Music Teacher to join their faculty in a full-time, permanent capacity. The Position

As a Music Teacher, you will be instrumental in developing and delivering a comprehensive music curriculum to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that encourages students to explore their musical potential, fostering their creativity, self-expression, and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement inspiring and innovative music lessons aligned with the national curriculum and the school’s educational ethos.
• Cultivate students’ musical talents through a range of activities, including instrumental instruction, vocal training, music theory, and performance opportunities.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and tailor instruction to meet individual needs and learning styles.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Music department and across the school to organize and lead concerts, ensembles, and other musical events.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that celebrates diversity and encourages all students to participate in musical activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Music or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Proven experience teaching Music at the secondary level.
• Proficiency in a variety of musical instruments and genres.
• A deep understanding of music theory, history, and performance practices.
