We are hiring for a highly organised and proactive Contract Support Manager to join our fantastic Contract Support team in Elland. You will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of contracts across the business. You will ensure operational efficiency, maintain high service standards, and act as a central point of coordination between clients, and the various divisions across the group.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing a team of Contracts Administrators carrying out regular one-to-ones, coaching and supporting them to succeed in role.
- Ensuring PDP’s are in place and development needs of the team are met through training.
- Leading and prioritizing team workload promoting sharing of knowledge within the team to provide enhanced team working and collaboration.
- Supporting & working closely with operational teams to ensure a high standard of contract set up smooth delivery and timely handover of projects.
- Provide routine reports and management information as required.
- Delivery of targets, SLA’s and KPIs ensuring deadlines are met within agreed timescales.
- Work closely with Head of Contract Support on Strategic Objectives, Team Goals, best practices and streamlined ways of working.
- Office Facility Management, support in all office relating queries and supporting a high standard of Health & Safety within the office environment.
- Attendance of operational and planning meetings.
- Ensure a high standard of record keeping and compliance with Checkmate Way processes and procedures.
About You
- Proven experience in a contracts support, coordination, or an administrative role
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Business Administration
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator with strong customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and contract management systems
- Experience in the fire safety, facilities management, or compliance sector (desirable but not essential)
- Willing to travel as and when required
