Parking Services Programme Manager
Hillingdon Council is seeking a Parking Services Programme Manager to lead the delivery of a portfolio of parking-related projects. This pivotal role sits at the heart of our modernisation agenda, ensuring efficient, high‑quality services and maximising value from our parking functions.
Reporting and Collaboration
The post holder will report directly to the Director of Community Safety & Enforcement, working across council departments, with senior leaders, elected members, project sponsors and external suppliers to deliver important service improvements and change.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage and deliver a portfolio of complex, strategically important projects across Parking Services.
- Build and coordinate multi‑disciplinary project teams to deliver agreed outcomes on time and within budget.
- Champion innovation and identify opportunities for enhanced customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Work with contracted service providers to ensure they deliver resident‑focused outcomes and maximum value.
- Gather and interpret key data to support effective management and decision‑making.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience delivering major change projects in a parking services or similar complex operational environment.
- Understanding of parking and related services in local authorities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build strong relationships at all levels.
Compensation and Contract
