Building Surveyor - Mixed-Use Developer

Building Surveyor | Client-Side | Central London

An opportunity to join a leading UK property owner with a high-quality London portfolio, working across prime commercial assets.

You’ll be part of an in-house surveying team, supporting the management and maintenance of a diverse estate. The role combines technical advisory with project delivery, working closely with non-technical property managers to drive asset performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes across multiple assets
• Undertake inspections (façade, roof, fabric) and lead defect diagnosis
• Specify, tender and manage refurbishment and remedial works
• Support budgeting, lifecycle planning and cost control
• Advise on occupier fit-outs, licences for alterations and fabric matters
• Assist with insurance claims, compliance (incl. fire safety) and asset reporting

About you:

• MRICS (or working towards) with c.0–2 years PQE
• Strong technical grounding in building surveying and construction
• Experience across inspections, defect analysis and project delivery
• Confident working with stakeholders and providing clear advice
• Commercially aware with a proactive, professional approach
