Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £80,000 + Package
We are currently working with a well‑established, design‑led façade and cladding specialist delivering projects across new build, reclad and refurbishment sectors. With a strong reputation for technical expertise, quality and risk management. Particularly across high‑risk building envelope systems they are now seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Full commercial management of façade / cladding packages
- Preparation and submission of valuations, variations and final accounts
- Cost planning, forecasting and reporting to senior management
- Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
- Contract administration (JCT / NEC forms)
- Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
- Liaising with clients, project teams and supply chain partners
- Supporting junior QS staff where required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within cladding / façades / external envelope
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (JCT preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
- Relevant qualification (Quantity Surveying or similar)
- Experience working for a subcontractor or specialist contractor is highly desirable
