Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support existing product lifecycle management and new product introduction (NPI) projects. The role involves delivering robust, manufacturable designs across low to high-volume production while contributing to continuous improvement and cross-functional engineering activity.

Job Responsibilities

• Support existing product lifecycle, including cost reduction and issue resolution
• Contribute to NPI and client projects with innovative design solutions
• Produce detailed designs, drawings (GA’s), BOMs, and technical documentation
• Design for manufacture (DfM) with focus on cost, performance, and scalability
• Support validation activities including calculations and engineering reports
• Work with cross-functional teams (production, operations, quality)
• Support test equipment design and product validation
• Carry out metrology and CMM inspection of components
• Contribute to continuous improvement and change management activities

Skill Required

• Strong SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM experience
• Experience with castings, injection mouldings, machined parts, and assemblies
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and design best practice
• Knowledge of metrology and CMM inspection
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
