Looking for your next step as a Structural Engineer? This growing consultancy in Truro is taking on projects across Devon & Cornwall — from small residential alterations to multi‑million‑pound commercial schemes — and they’re looking for someone motivated, hands‑on, and ready for variety.

The Role

You’ll work on the structural design and analysis of concrete, steel, timber, and masonry projects, collaborating directly with architects and the wider design team. Expect real responsibility, creative problem‑solving, and involvement across all stages of delivery.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing fee proposals, tenders, and project reviews
• Carrying out building inspections and site visits
• Supporting client and contractor relationships to help secure future work
• Delivering high‑quality technical design and calculations

What you’ll need

• MEng/BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 2+ years’ experience in a UK consultancy
• Strong technical design and analysis skills
• Ambition to become Chartered (IStructE/ICE)
• Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
