We are looking for an experienced Aircraft Component Inspector to join a busy aerospace workshop environment. This is a hands-on role involving the inspection of aircraft components, identifying defects, and determining appropriate repair actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect aircraft components for wear, damage, and serviceability
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and callipers
- Follow manufacturer manuals (e.g. OEM/CMM) to assess component condition
- Record inspection findings and part details accurately in SAP
- Create and update repair routes based on inspection results
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet deadlines
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping
Requirements
- Previous experience in aerospace, aviation, or a similar mechanical inspection environment
- Strong understanding of inspection techniques and measuring equipment
- Ability to read and follow technical manuals
- Experience using SAP or similar systems is an advantage
- Good attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
- Flexible and team-oriented approach
Working Hours
- Alternating shifts:
- Early Week: 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Late Shift: 1:55pm – 9:55pm
