What this role actually is

This isn’t admin, and it’s not about sending emails and waiting.

You’ll sit at the centre of our commercial and supply function, directly influencing:

• Pricing turnaround times
• Supplier performance
• Margin
• Client service delivery

You’ll be expected to take ownership, push suppliers, and make things happen.

What you’ll be doing

• Securing fast, accurate pricing across haulage, disposal, and recycling
• Managing and strengthening supplier relationships, holding them accountable
• Supporting the commercial team with competitive, winnable pricing
• Coordinating waste movements and service delivery
• Identifying alternative routes and outlets quickly
• Driving cost, efficiency, and margin improvements

Who this suits

• Currently working within waste services/resource management/supply chain roles
• Experienced in subcontractor pricing, collections, and coordination
• Frustrated with slow systems and lack of control
• Commercially aware, understands margin, not just process
• Proactive, organised, and comfortable working at pace
