Own the show. Every weekend.

Whether you’re an emerging producer building your broadcast credits or a senior pro who’s done this a hundred times — if you’ve got the Adobe Premiere and Audition skills and you thrive under deadline pressure, we want to hear from you.

We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading media organisation for a Freelance Podcast Producer to join the team behind a flagship daily news show. This is a genuine end-to-end production role with full editorial ownership on weekends — you have final say on content, quality, and output every Saturday and Sunday.

Contract is up to 6 months, starting ASAP.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Running end-to-end production of a flagship daily news podcast — planning, recording, editing, and delivery to tight deadlines
  • Taking full editorial and production authority on weekend broadcasts — content, quality, and output decisions are yours
  • Editing and mixing broadcast-quality audio in Adobe Audition (EQ, compression, cleaning noise, dialogue levelling, LUFS mastering standards)
  • Editing video content in Adobe Premiere for distribution on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and social platforms
  • Managing video shoots including camera setups, lighting, and sound
  • Collaborating with hosts, guests, and producers to develop compelling episode content and storylines
  • Monitoring platform analytics to refine content strategy and maximise audience reach
  • Staying ahead of trends in podcasting, video production, and cross-media storytelling

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Adobe Audition — essential
  • Solid grasp of podcast and video production workflows, start to finish
  • Experience producing and optimising content for YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts
  • Confident working with genuine independence and accountability — especially on weekends
  • Strong communication, project management, and deadline management skills
  • Filming, lighting, and sound equipment experience
  • Weekend availability is non-negotiable — Saturday and Sunday are core working days

Open to all levels — Junior, Mid, and Senior producers are all encouraged to apply

The Package:

  • £30/hour | Outside IR35
  • ️ Kit provided
  • Fully remote
  • Up to 6 months | Start: ASAP
