Legal Secretary – Conveyancing (London)
We are partnering with a well‑regarded law firm in London seeking an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to support their busy property team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone organised, proactive and confident working in a fast‑paced conveyancing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing full secretarial and administrative support to conveyancing fee‑earners
- Preparing, formatting and amending contracts, transfer documents, reports and other property‑related paperwork
- Managing diaries, scheduling appointments and coordinating client meetings
- Handling client enquiries professionally via phone and email
- Opening and closing conveyancing files and maintaining accurate records
- Audio and copy typing, including digital dictation
- Conducting Land Registry and search‑related administrative tasks
- Liaising with estate agents, lenders, clients and third parties
- Assisting with billing, file management and general office administration
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within a Conveyancing or Property department
- Strong typing and document‑production skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office
- Professional, organised and able to work independently
