We are currently seeking a Senior Associate to join a high-performing London-based Insurance Disputes team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance disputes lawyer to work on complex, high-value and often international matters, advising across a broad range of coverage and liability defence issues.
The role
You will:
- Advise on insurance coverage and liability defence matters across multiple lines
- Work closely with partners on complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes
- Take ownership of matters, managing day-to-day conduct of cases
- Supervise and support junior lawyers
- Contribute to client development and broader practice growth
You will be working across a diverse caseload, including:
- D&O and financial lines
- Cyber and technology risks
- Credit and political risk, including political violence
- Property damage
- Reinsurance
- Fraud
- Professional indemnity (including solicitors, accountants, brokers and construction professionals)
- Specialty lines such as specie, personal accident, and accident & health
The person
You will:
- Have 5+ years’ PQE (or equivalent experience) in insurance disputes
- Bring strong experience from a leading insurance practice
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the London Market, including subscription risks
- Be confident advising on policy interpretation, coverage disputes, and dispute resolution strategy
- Enjoy taking ownership of work and building strong client relationships
