Mode is proud to be partnering with a high-growth luxury ready-to-wear brand seeking a General Manager / Operations Director to lead and scale the business internationally. This is a rare opportunity to join an emerging brand at a pivotal stage of growth, operating at the intersection of modern femininity and elevated design.
The business is expanding globally, with operations across Europe and the Middle East, and is now looking for a highly experienced operator to bring structure, clarity, and commercial focus across all functions.
This is a newly created role due to growth and reports directly to the Founder & Creative Director.
The role can be based in Paris or London, with frequent travel required between key European hubs.
The Role
- Take full ownership of day-to-day operations across all areas of the business.
- Drive commercial strategy and performance across wholesale, retail and e-commerce channels.
- Lead international expansion, including retail development and digital growth.
- Build and implement a clear marketing vision, including hiring and managing an internal marketing function.
- Establish robust operational frameworks to ensure clarity, accountability and performance across teams.
- Introduce structured planning processes across collections, marketing and commercial functions.
- Implement tools and systems to support delivery, timelines and cross-functional coordination.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and overall financial performance.
- Partner closely with design and production teams to ensure alignment between creative direction and business execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within luxury fashion (General Manager / Operations Director level).
- Strong track record of building and scaling brands in a high-growth environment.
- Deep understanding of both European and Middle Eastern markets.
- Strong commercial acumen combined with a hands-on, execution-driven mindset.
- Experience building or leading marketing functions and teams.
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
- Comfortable working in a founder-led, creatively driven environment.
- Fluent in English, French and Italian (essential).
