Senior UX Researcher

As a Senior UX Researcher at TCS Interactive, you will play a key role within the product design organisation, helping to shape user‑centred digital products through thoughtful, well‑executed research.

Working closely with Product Design Leads, UX/UI Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and wider stakeholders, you will support research activities from early discovery through to validation and delivery. You will be responsible for planning and conducting research independently, while also contributing to broader research strategy and ways of working within the team.

This is a hands‑on role focused on delivering high‑quality insights that inform design and product decisions. You will bring a strong understanding of user‑centred design principles, a growing point of view on research practice, and the confidence to clearly articulate insights and recommendations to a range of audiences.

Staying informed about emerging research methods, tools, and best practices, you will help ensure our work remains relevant, evidence‑based, and impactful.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior UX Researcher, you will:

• Plan and execute high‑quality qualitative and quantitative UX research, supporting digital products across their lifecycle
• Own research activities from brief to delivery, translating business and product questions into appropriate research approaches
• Conduct a range of research methods including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and concept or prototype testing
• Synthesize research findings into clear, actionable insights that inform design, product, and delivery decisions
• Collaborate closely with UX Designers and Product teams to embed research into design and development workflows
• Produce research artefacts such as insight reports, personas, journey maps, and user need frameworks
• Communicate findings confidently through presentations, readouts, and workshops
• Advocate for a user centred and evidence‑led approach within project teams
• Manage multiple research activities in parallel, delivering to agreed timelines and quality expectations

Skills and Experience

You will be an experienced UX Researcher with a strong foundation in research practice and a track record of delivering impactful insights. You will bring:

• 6+ years’ experience working as a UX Researcher or User Researcher in an agency, consultancy, or product‑led environment
• Solid experience running end to end research with minimal supervision
• Strong knowledge of user centred design principles and research methodologies
• Confidence selecting and applying appropriate research methods based on project needs
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams including design, product, and engineering
• Ability to clearly articulate research rationale, findings, and recommendations to varied audiences
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with attention to detail and clarity
• Familiarity with common UX tools such as Figma, Miro/FigJam, UserTesting, Maze, Optimal Workshop, or similar
