Salary: Up to 50k + benefits
If you’re someone who thrives on bringing structure to a fast-paced shop floor, this is one worth looking at.
This is a key hire for a precision engineering business supplying into high-performance sectors. They need someone who can take ownership of planning across a busy CNC environment – keeping machines running, work flowing, and delivery on track.
You’ll sit right in the middle of the operation, turning customer demand into a plan that actually works on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage production schedules across CNC machining, ensuring capacity is used effectively
- Sequence work intelligently based on machines, tooling and available resource
- Work closely with engineering and production to make sure routes and cycle times stack up
- Keep control of WIP, materials and priorities to avoid bottlenecks and delays
- Act as the link between sales and the shop floor, keeping everyone aligned on delivery
What we’re looking for:
- Solid background in production planning within CNC machining or precision engineering
- Strong understanding of milling, turning and multi-axis environments
- Comfortable reading drawings and understanding how parts flow through production
- Confident using ERP/MRP systems, with good Excel skills
- Organised, proactive and able to juggle multiple priorities without losing control
