This is an exciting opportunity to support a Managing Director within a well-established and highly respected construction business. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the office, supporting senior stakeholders, and maintaining high standards of organisation and communication across the business.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and takes pride in delivering exceptional administrative support.
The Role:
As Personal Assistant to the Managing Director, you will provide confidential and professional support, while also assisting the wider regional management team where required. You will be central to ensuring that administrative functions run efficiently and that communication across departments is seamless.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-level PA support to ensure the effective running of office administration.
- Managing diaries and coordinating schedules to maintain efficient communication.
- Handling correspondence promptly and professionally.
- Preparing letters, reports, and board documentation accurately and on time.
- Organising business travel and accommodation in line with company requirements.
- Preparing itineraries and taking accurate minutes, ensuring key actions are recorded and followed up.
- Supporting the management of customer complaints to maintain brand reputation and service standards.
- Assisting senior stakeholders including finance and HR functions where required.
- Managing general office administration, including stationery orders and office organisation.
- Supporting health and safety compliance and maintaining relevant documentation.
- Organising internal and external events.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential
- Previous experience in a Personal Assistant or similar role and industry.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information professionally.
Desirable
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with COINS and Power BI would be advantageous.
