Product / Technical Manager – Control & Monitoring Systems

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an internationally focused engineering business operating within the control and monitoring systems space, who are looking to appoint a Product / Technical Manager to support ongoing product development and growth.

This is a key, standalone role sitting between engineering, product, and customer delivery. You’ll take ownership of a range of connected control products, working closely with international development teams to ensure products are technically sound, user-focused, and delivered to spec.

Key focus areas:

• Ownership of product development across control & monitoring systems

• Reviewing and challenging Product Requirement Documents (PRDs)

• Working closely with overseas development/manufacturing teams

• Acting as the technical interface for customers

• Supporting UI/UX and overall product performance

We’re looking for someone with:

• Experience in control and monitoring systems (heating, environmental or similar)

• Strong understanding of IoT / connected products

• Knowledge of protocols such as OpenTherm, BACnet, Modbus, Zigbee/Z-Wave, RF, WiFi

• Experience working across full product lifecycles

• A solid grounding in electronics / PCB fundamentals

• Confidence operating in a standalone, commercially aware role
