Data Analyst | Wigan (Hybrid)
We’re working with a leading retail & vending technology company that is building an entirely new data function, creating a rare chance to shape an Azure data platform from day one and influence how data drives the business across Europe. They’re now looking for an experienced Data Analyst to play a key role in shaping how data is used across the organisation.
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll work closely with technical teams and senior stakeholders, building insight that genuinely influences decision‑making.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning and developing business‑critical dashboards, KPIs and reporting (Power BI)
- Analysing large, high‑volume datasets to uncover trends, risks and opportunities
- Working with a Data Engineer to design data models and support self‑serve reporting
- Presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Improving data structures, definitions and governance as the organisation scales
What they’re looking for:
- Strong experience as a Data Analyst / BI Developer
- Advanced Power BI, Fabric and solid SQL skills
- Experience working with data warehouses, ETL processes and cloud environments (Microsoft/Azure ideal)
- Confidence engaging with non‑technical stakeholders
- Someone who enjoys greenfield work and adding commercial value through data
Why consider it?
- Hybrid working (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)
- A business that values data-driven decision making
- Opportunity to influence strategy, not just report on it
- Supportive, forward-thinking environment with room to grow
If you’re open to a new challenge and want to apply your analytics skills in a role with real impact, this could be the right role for you.
Must have full right to work in the UK – no sponsorship available for this role unfortunately!
