Technical Training Coordinator
6 months FTC (potential to extend)
Hybrid (1-2 days per week in Eakring office)
Salary Circa £38k per annum
My high-profile Utilities client requires a Technical Training Coordinator to help support the design, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning. The role works closely with stakeholders and internal teams to maintain high‑quality curricula, manage learning content within the Learning Management System (LMS), and ensure digital learning materials and assessments are fit for purpose.
What You’ll Do
- Complete annual reviews of learning items in collaboration with internal stakeholders, capturing feedback and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Support the creation and maintenance of curricula, working closely with the Design, Planning, and Process teams to ensure alignment with organisational standards and learning objectives.
- Manage content uploads and updates within the LMS, ensuring accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and version control.
- Implement and maintain learning templates, including updates to structure, formatting, and branding as required.
- Convert paper-based assessments into digital formats, ensuring assessments are user-friendly, secure, and aligned with learning outcomes.
- Create and configure online assessments, including question banks, scoring logic, feedback, and completion rules within the LMS.
- Conduct testing of eLearning modules and assessments, identifying issues related to functionality, usability, and learner experience.
- Log, track, and support the resolution of issues identified during testing, working with relevant teams to implement fixes.
- Ensure learning content complies with accessibility, quality, and internal governance standards.
- Provide ongoing administrative and technical support for digital learning activities as required.
What You’ll Have
- Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) such as SuccessFactors including content uploads and basic configuration.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Confidence working with digital content and online assessments.
- Skilled in computer applications including Office 365 and digital authoring tools.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to successfully prioritise and handle multiple complex tasks and projects.
- Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment
- Methodical and quality-focused approach to work
Desirable:
- Experience in learning development or learning design support.
- Knowledge of eLearning standards (e.g. SCORM, accessibility guidelines).
- Experience testing digital learning content or systems.
