Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum, plus cash car allowance

About the Role:
Hargreaves Logistics is entering an exciting phase of accelerated growth and investment. With more than £5 million of new vehicles joining our fleet over the next two months, we are strengthening our driver resourcing capability to ensure we have a skilled, compliant and fully supported professional driver workforce in place.
We are looking for an experienced Driver Resource Manager to lead the recruitment, resourcing and onboarding of drivers across a diverse fleet of 100+ vehicles, including walking floors, tippers and low loaders. This is a pivotal role that will shape the future of our driver operations and support our continued expansion.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conduct regular volume telephone calls with drivers to discuss opportunities, understand their experience and provide a clear, honest picture of what it’s like to work for Hargreaves
- Manage the full end to end recruitment process for HGV drivers across multiple vehicle types
- Develop and deliver a proactive driver resourcing strategy aligned to rapid fleet growth
- Partner with the Internal Talent Acquisition team to attract, assess and secure high quality candidates
- Work closely with Operations to understand fleet requirements, shift patterns and operational demands
- Collaborate with the Driver Training Manager to ensure smooth onboarding, induction and ongoing driver development
- Maintain full compliance with licensing, CPC and regulatory requirements
- Build strong relationships with driver agencies and external suppliers
- Monitor recruitment metrics, pipeline health and driver availability to ensure operational continuity
- Plan, organise and attend driver recruitment days, open days and assessment events as part of a proactive attraction strategy
- Engage with candidates outside of standard working hours where required to meet driver availability and operational demand
What We’re Looking for:
- Proven experience in driver recruitment, driver resourcing, transport workforce management or as a professional driver
- Strong understanding of LGV operations, driver compliance and licensing standards
- Experience supporting large or growing fleets (100+ vehicles desirable)
- Collaborative, stakeholder focused and confident working cross functionally
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
- Flexible and comfortable working occasional evenings and weekends, depending on driver availability and operational needs - with time off in lieu provided
