Job Responsibilities
Knowledge/Expertise
- Develop compelling promotional copy that meets the client brief and is scientifically accurate
- Develop an understanding of relevant therapy areas, media formats and marketing techniques
- Establish yourself internally as a medical copy expert
- Write clearly and concisely, adhering to relevant style guides
- Acute attention to detail, with an emphasis on consistency and continuity
- Ensure content is compliant to the ABPI code of practice or relevant regulatory requirements, and is backed up by the necessary research
- Proficient using Veeva, FUSE and Proof
Strategic Skills/Tools
- Ability to analyze complex scientific and clinical information to provide a clear, succinct summary targeted at the relevant audience
- Produce high-quality medical copy for a range of channels including sales aids, websites, videos and animations, leave pieces, and patient information materials
- Participate in proprietary workshops
- Well organized and able to manage multiple workstreams ensuring deadlines are met
Client Relationships
- Actively participate in briefing sessions and client meetings where required
- Establish rapport with client medical teams to ensure accuracy of client materials
Business Development
- Strengthen understanding of the pitch process and support medical research and copy development for new business pitches with supervision, when required
- Look for ways to add value to the accounts you work on, be able to pitch these internally and contribute to pitching them to clients
