Freelance Midweight Digital Designer — eCommerce & CRM

(Fashion/Lifestyle Brand)

Location: London-based, hybrid (1–3 days per week in-office)

Contract: Freelance — ASAP start, ongoing

Day Rate: £300 per day — Inside IR35

Our client is a globally recognised fashion and lifestyle brand operating across multiple iconic labels within the footwear and apparel space. They’re hiring a Freelance Midweight Digital Designer to sit within their EMEA eCommerce team, with a primary focus on CRM, email design and wider digital campaign execution.

This is a multi-brand role — fast-paced, detail-driven and with real scope to influence how world-class brands show up in the inbox and online.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Day-to-day creation of email creative and website assets across multiple brands
  • Designing high-performing, responsive email templates — BAU and campaign
  • Creating Figma designs ready for developer handoff, including responsive and mobile-first builds
  • Supporting A/B testing, personalisation initiatives and connected user experience
  • Working closely with CRM, content, web development and marketing teams
  • QA of web builds to ensure design standards and UX are upheld
  • Feeding into new concepts, brand initiatives and long-term design projects

What we’re looking for:

  • Confident midweight designer or senior with strong CRM and email design experience
  • Highly proficient in Figma — prototyping, responsive design, dev handoff essential
  • Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills — Photoshop essential, animation a bonus
  • An eCommerce experience — fashion, lifestyle or retail brands preferred
  • HTML/CSS understanding to a level — comfortable collaborating directly with developers
  • A good understanding of customer journeys and UX best practice
  • Mobile-first mindset with sharp attention to detail and a strong eye for layout and typography
  • Able to work across multiple brands simultaneously, self-manage and hit deadlines

Not suitable for:

  • Print only Designers or art directors with a lack of UI/UX and performance experience
  • Anyone who needs heavy briefing or hand-holding in a fast-paced environment
