OurClient is a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of equipment and mechanical solutions for the packaging and paper converting industries.
Position: Sales Lead General Manager – focused on sales development and oversight of light equipment assembly from overseas manufacturing and distribution of the assembled product.
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive sales strategy for equipment and mechanical solutions within the packaging and paper converting sectors.
- Lead sales development activities, including identifying opportunities, building relationships, and closing deals.
- Oversee the assembly of light equipment from overseas manufacturing, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with product, engineering, and production teams to ensure alignment of customer requirements and final product.
- Manage general management responsibilities such as operational planning, performance monitoring, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with accountancy, HR, and procurement specialists to support sales and operational objectives.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in sales development, preferably within the folded carton, corrugated, or envelope/paper conversion sectors.
- Experience in machinery or equipment sales within the packaging or paper industries.
- Background in engineering, controls, micro‑processing, machining, high‑speed multi‑tasking systems, in‑process controlling, monitoring, extrusion, or data acquisition systems is desirable.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage cross‑functional teams and coordinate with multiple departments.
