A leading, high-growth technology business is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to join its Senior Leadership Team. This is a pivotal executive appointment, offering the opportunity to shape financial strategy, support international growth, and influence key commercial decisions at board level.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will take full ownership of the finance function, acting as a strategic partner to the leadership team while ensuring robust governance, performance management, and financial discipline across the business.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Own and drive the company’s financial strategy, aligned to long- and short-term business objectives
- Act as a core member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to major strategic and commercial decisions
- Develop and maintain a robust five-year strategic financial model
- Support international expansion, including new entity setup and regulatory compliance
Financial Performance & Planning
- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and reforecasting processes
- Deliver high-quality financial and operational reporting, including quarterly board packs
- Monitor performance against budget, forecast, and prior year, providing clear insight and recommendations
- Evaluate investment opportunities, new initiatives, and service offerings
Finance Function Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary finance team
- Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development
- Ensure appropriate systems, controls, policies, and processes are in place and fit for scale
- Ensure compliance with financial, tax, and statutory requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Maintain strong internal controls and risk management frameworks
- Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, banks, and financial partners
- Oversee cashflow management, working capital, and insurance coverage
M&A and Financial Relationships
- Support due diligence for M&A activity and strategic investments
- Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and financial institutions
- Arrange debt financing and oversee financial data rooms when required
Candidate Profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Senior finance leadership experience as CFO or Financial Director within a growing or complex organisation
- Strong international finance experience and knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management
- Proven ability to lead and scale finance teams in dynamic environments
- Exceptional analytical, commercial, and problem-solving capability
- Experience within SaaS, technology, or IT-led businesses
- Experience supporting international expansion or multi-entity structures
