Prospectus is excited to be working with the UK’s regulatory body for the engineering profession to recruit for a Head of Regulation and Governance to lead their Licensing, Governance and Strategy functions in support of providing effective risk-based regulation.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key member of the Executive Team and support the CEO in the development, delivery and performance monitoring of the organisational strategy.
• Lead a small team and oversee the performance of the licensing system and governance function.
• Provide support to the Board of Trustees and oversight of the organisation’s risk framework.
• Provide advice to stakeholders on key regulatory matters and represent the organisation’s regulatory position in national and international contexts.

Qualifications

• Excellent governance experience having managed organisational governance in a previous role.
• Demonstrable experience of working successfully with a Board of Trustees.
• Previous team management experience with exceptional management and leadership qualities.
• Strong communicator, able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
