Sponsorship: Not available (must have full UK Right to Work)
The Opportunity
Join a mission‑driven, Series A scale‑up following a record‑breaking funding round. They are scaling their engineering team to deliver a subscription model for energy systems.

The Role
As a Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in building out a scalable platform that manages complex financial subscriptions, real‑time monitoring, and automated grid interactions.
- Build & Own: Drive features from conception to delivery across the full development lifecycle.
- Architectural Input: Contribute to high‑level decisions on tooling, infrastructure, and system performance.
- Collaborative Growth: Participate in deep code reviews and mentor peers to maintain a high bar for code quality.
- Agile Environment: Work in a fast‑paced, product‑focused team utilising modern CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and AWS.
Technical Environment
They look for engineers who are "tech‑agnostic" but highly proficient in our core stack:
- Language/Frameworks: TypeScript, React, Node.js, Docker, AWS (RDS, Lambda, SNS), GraphQL, REST APIs
Who You Are
- Experienced: 6+ years of professional experience in a product‑led engineering environment (Start‑up or Scale‑up experience is a major plus).
- Full‑Stack Mindset: Comfortable navigating the backend (Node/Postgres) and frontend (React/TypeScript).
- Ownership‑Driven: You don’t just write tickets; you solve business problems and take pride in maintainable, secure code.
- Proactive: You are curious, open to learning new technologies, and comfortable navigating the ambiguity of a rapidly growing firm.
Why Join?
- Stability & Growth
- Impact: Help homeowners save while accelerating the UK's transition to Net Zero.
- Culture: A collaborative London‑based team that values high‑calibre engineering and a connected, social office environment.
