Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of production policies, objectives, and initiatives.
- Schedule and ensure proper utilisation of facilities and personnel for production.
- Work closely with the managing director to meet expectations on timeliness, quality and profitability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the production process.
- Adopt best practices, drive efficiency, and initiate production improvement plans to minimise costs.
- Lead the department, demonstrating strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Stay current with new production technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Highly skilled, organised, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and flexible individual.
- Strong experience in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Background in print, packaging or paper sectors.
- Experience with production scheduling and workforce management.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and quality best practices.
Salary: Basic £45‑60k, car allowance plus benefits, £70k package.
