Subsequent to continued growth, our client is looking for an S&OP Manager to play a vital role in aligning sales, marketing, production, and financial plans – ensuring supply is balanced with demand while optimising resources.
If you’re passionate about supply chain excellence, thrive on cross-functional collaboration, and want to make your mark in a business where quality and authenticity are at the heart of everything our client does, this could be the role for you.
What you’ll be doing
As our S&OP Manager, you’ll lead the entire Sales & Operations Planning cycle – the engine that drives alignment across the business. Day-to-day, you’ll:
- Lead the S&OP process – oversee weekly cycles, facilitate cross-functional meetings, and keep demand, production, and inventory in sync.
- Drive demand planning – build accurate forecasts, manage new product launches, and incorporate market intelligence.
- Optimise supply planning – balance inventory levels and production schedules to ensure customers get exactly what they need, when they need it.
- Work collaboratively – bring together sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain to ensure a joined-up approach.
- Track performance – define and monitor KPIs, spotting opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
- Champion continuous improvement – identify smarter ways of working, mentor colleagues, and embed a culture of quality, food safety, and product authenticity.
- Develop people & tools – lead a high-performing S&OP team and implement systems that support smarter planning.
What we’re looking for
- Strong background in supply chain processes – from demand and production planning to inventory optimisation.
- Solid knowledge of the full S&OP cycle and how to align different business functions.
- Proven experience collaborating with teams across sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data to drive decision-making.
- Experience leading teams, managing change, and improving processes.
- Experience in UK/EU distribution systems or advanced planning platforms would be an added advantage.
Benefits
- The chance to shape and lead a critical business process.
- A supportive, people-first environment with opportunities to grow.
- The pride of working for a trusted name in the business.
