Unlike many sales positions in print there is no need to bring turnover, this client is looking to appoint someone based on their ability to manage a sales team, rather than their little black book.
This “player-coach” will design and implement the strategic sales plan to expand our client’s customer base and ensure its strong presence. Alongside this, the role of sales manager will be to build a sales team which you will then actively manage with a focus on developing talent, setting objectives, coaching, monitoring performance and driving them to exceed sales goals.
Responsibilities

- Build and actively manage a sales team.
- Develop talent, set objectives, coach, monitor performance and drive them to exceed sales goals.
- Present and influence convincingly at all organisational levels.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong business sense and proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Dynamic, energetic and passionate about the work you do.
- Experience as a senior sales representative in printing background preferred.
Eligibility
Applicants must be residents in the UK and have recent work experience in the print, packaging or paper sectors.
