Overview

Our Client is a leading and award-winning London printing company who are looking to appoint a highly experienced Operations Director. This is a rarely available opportunity for a target-driven high calibre Operations Director to join the Board and an opportunity to be part of a senior management team developing and implementing the future strategy for this successful business.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement manufacturing programs that improve competitive position and profitability.
• Manage and coordinate typesetting, print production and mailing operations from within a state-of-the-art factory in London.
• Adopt best practices and initiate processes and new technologies to minimise costs through effective utilisation of manpower, equipment, facilities and materials.
• Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction while maximising efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and financial understanding.
• Experience managing large manufacturing teams, with ability to command authority and gain respect.
• Real passion for the industry and knowledge of relevant technologies.
• Ambition, confidence in managing change, hunger to play a broad part in long-term success.
