Senior Site Manager

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a major £50m+ education development in Bath.

Working for an established Tier 1 contractor, you will take responsibility for managing key phases of the build, ensuring programme, quality, and safety targets are met throughout the project lifecycle.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day site operations
• Coordinating subcontractors and site teams
• Driving build programme and short-term planning
• Ensuring health & safety compliance across site
• Managing quality control and inspections
• Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams
• Reporting progress to senior management
• Supporting project delivery through to completion

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience as a Senior Site Manager on large-scale projects
• Tier 1 contractor background or relevant major project exposure
• Experience on projects valued at £50m+
• Education sector experience advantageous
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and site logistics
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid
