Responsibilities
- Carry out valuation instructions efficiently with a high degree of independence within the Valuation Team.
- Prepare concise and accurate valuation reports ready for Director review.
- Collaborate with valuation colleagues and assume personal responsibility for instructions.
- Work smartly and efficiently to maximise profitability.
- Embrace procedures and safeguards to meet regulatory, quality and corporate standards.
- Identify opportunities to grow the Midlands Valuation business and collaborate with colleagues across Avison Young to realise new business opportunities.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Proficiency in valuation software, ideally including KEL and Argus Developer.

- Commercial and pragmatic approach to real‑world business and property issues.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience
- RICS qualification (FRICS / MRICS).
- RICS Registered Valuer.
- Good working knowledge of the RICS ‘Red Book’ and relevant guidance notes.
