Studio Manager – Yorkshire – £27k to £35k pa depending on experience

Overview

We have an opportunity for a Studio Manager or Senior Artworker / Retoucher at a highly successful printing company.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the studio has adequate resources to carry out its work and that the work taken on is realistic and manageable within available resources.
• Manage and oversee people, equipment, workflow and quality assurance.
• Recruit staff and freelancers, providing induction and ensuring roles, skills and procedures are optimised and used to best effect.
• Maximise the efficiency of the studio and the quality of its services.
• Take initiative, be a confident decision‑maker and use an accurate and methodological approach to all projects.
• Show excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work.

Qualifications

• Wealth of experience in artwork, repro and retouching.
• Exemplary management skills, capable of optimising roles, skills and procedures.
• Experience managing studio operations and maintaining quality assurance standards.
