Leatherhead, Surrey (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
The Role
We’re working with a leading health technology organisation at the centre of the UK healthcare ecosystem, delivering critical, regulated data to healthcare professionals and patients.
As part of a major platform evolution, they are looking for an Azure Identity Architect to take ownership of their enterprise identity strategy, with Microsoft Entra ID at its core.
This is a hands‑on architecture role, focused on designing and evolving secure, scalable identity and access solutions across a modern Azure-based platform. You’ll play a key role in shaping how identity supports user experience, security, and compliance across the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and evolve the identity architecture across the organisation, centred on Microsoft Entra ID / Entra External ID
- Design and implement secure authentication and authorisation models (SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, B2B/B2C)
- Define and optimise Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes and identity lifecycle management
- Lead on federation and external identity integration (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect)
- Partner with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure identity is embedded across all solutions
- Produce high-quality architecture artefacts and standards to support governance and scalability
What They’re Looking For
- Strong experience designing enterprise identity architectures in Azure
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (including External ID / B2C concepts)
- Experience with modern authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OIDC)
- Proven track record delivering IAM solutions at scale (SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, RBAC)
- Understanding of identity governance and lifecycle management (JML processes)
- Background in .NET / Azure application architecture
Why Join
- Work on a platform with real-world impact on patient care
- Take ownership of a core identity capability in a modern cloud environment
- Be part of a genuine transformation programme, not just BAU
- High level of influence across architecture and security strategy
