Lead Full Stack Engineer (Java, AWS, Angular) – MarTech & Data Platforms

We’re working with a global investment organisation to appoint a Lead Full Stack Engineer who can take ownership of building and evolving modern, data-driven digital platforms.

This role suits someone who enjoys staying close to the code while also setting direction, leading by example rather than stepping away from engineering. You’ll play a key role in delivering scalable solutions across marketing and customer platforms, using a modern cloud-based stack.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading the design and delivery of full stack, microservices-based applications (Java, Angular, AWS)
• Remaining hands‑on with development while guiding technical standards and direction
• Driving marketing technology initiatives across Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), and Adobe Target
• Collaborating with product and marketing teams to build data‑led, customer‑focused solutions
• Taking ownership of architecture, CI/CD pipelines, TDD, and engineering best practices
• Acting as a senior point of contact for complex technical challenges

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in a Lead Engineer role with strong hands‑on development capability
• Deep expertise in Java, Angular (or similar modern JS frameworks), and AWS
• Experience building microservices, APIs, and cloud‑native systems
• Familiarity with Adobe MarTech tools (AEM, AEP, Target)
• Interest or experience in data‑driven platforms or analytics
• Strong communication skills and experience working across cross‑functional teams
