Role: Mobile HVAC Engineer

Hours: 08:00 – 17:00, 40 hours per week

Location: Greater London

We’re looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC / Mechanical Bias Engineer to join our team and help maintain a wide range of building systems at one of our key client’s sites. You will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and compliance of essential infrastructure.

Role Responsibilities

  • Carry out the service, maintenance, and repair of mechanical installations across the site.
  • Maintain ventilation systems including air handling units (AHUs) and intake/extract systems.
  • Maintain heating and cooling systems, including thermal wheels and fan coil units (FCUs).
  • Work on water systems such as booster sets, calorifiers, and water heaters.
  • Undertake both planned preventative and reactive maintenance, ranging from basic plumbing to statutory compliance tasks such as legionella monitoring.
  • Respond to client queries, identify and report defects, and provide clear and timely updates.
  • Ensure all inspections, remedial works, and service activities are accurately recorded and documented.
  • Work safely at height, in confined spaces, and undertake manual handling tasks in line with safe working practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience within a Maintenance or Facilities Management environment.
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications such as F‑Gas, City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 5, or HNC (or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety, Permit to Work systems, and safe working practices.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
  • Competent in using a mobile device for reporting and record keeping.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
